Your OneLogin account includes a standard set of reports. If your current OneLogin subscription supports it, you can customize these reports and create new ones from scratch.
All reports are found under Activity > Reports. Create a new report by clicking on New Report.
Who can run reports?
Reports are available to super admins and only if your OneLogin subscription includes reporting. Note that on some plans you may only be able to run the standard reports.
A report is based on a Report Type, which defines a data set in OneLogin. There are four different Report Types to choose from.
Note: Timestamps in reports are in GMT.
Use natural language to express dates for conditions that are dates or timestamps. The date is either an exact date such as December 3, 2010 or it can be a relative date such as 3 months ago. Here are some examples:
- December 3, 2000
- This week
- This month
- 30 days ago
- 3 months ago
- 2 weeks ago
- 6 hours ago
Every report type has a predefined set of columns that can be included in the report. After you save the report, you can add columns by selecting a column in the dropbox shown below.
New columns will be added to the far right of the table. You can remove columns by selecting the drop-down arrow next to the column header. You can group your data by field by selecting Group by this field from the drop-down.
The report can be sorted by a column's value in either ascending or descending order.
Download CSV file
You can download the current review report view as a CSV file and import it into Excel or Google Spreadsheets for further processing. Click the Download CSV button on the report page.
Run User Detail Reports in Background
Admins can generate user reports and run them in the background. Background run reports aren't subject to size limitations. The report is accessible via a link in an email. The report is listed in the Events tab and the download link is also accessible in the Event Viewer. Admins can select the Jobs tab to view reports in progress and completed reports.
Note: The Run in Background feature is only available for User Detail Reports at this time.
To run a report in the background:
Go to Activity > Reports and select the report you want to run.
You are directed to a preview of the report.
In the More Actions dropdown, select Run in Background.
To view the progress of the report, or view older reports:
Go to Activity > Jobs .
View the report in the In Progress field, or the Completed field.
View the User Report
Once the report is generated, an email is sent that contains a link to download the report. For additional security, you must be logged into your OneLogin account to download the report. The email recipient is the admin who generated the report.

You can also view details of the User Detail Report and download it from the Events tab.
Go to Activity > Events.
- Click the Any Event dropdown to activate the search field and enter report.
Select the report from the search results to view the event.
Click download link on the event to download the report.
