The following instructions will configure user provisioning into Jive through OneLogin.
Go to Users > Custom User Fields to open the custom user fields page where you'll be creating a New User Field for the Jive phone numbers that you'll be provisioning to users. We've created an example field below, and when you're done, select Save to confirm.
With the field created, navigate to Users > All Users and select a user that will be provisioned with Jive. Scrolling down to Custom User Fields, you'll find the field that was created for Jive. Here you'll be inputting that user's Jive phone number and then selecting Save User to confirm.
Now, proceed to Apps > Add Apps, and search for 'Jive Hosted'. This connector will have SAML2.0 and Provisioning associated with its name. Go ahead and select that and once within the Add App page, ensure that Connectors is set to 'SAML2.0 - user provisioning'. Once your page resembles the example below, select Save to confirm your settings.
Immediately, OneLogin will take you into Jive's Info tab. Navigate to the adjacent Configuration tab and begin by inputing your organization's custom Jive URL under Base URL. From there, enter the username of the account owner under Account Owner's Username, and then input the password of the account owner under Account Owner's Password. When your page resembles the example below, select Save to confirm the settings and then afterwards, select Connect to test the API. A successful connection will yield a green connected flag.
Next, proceed to the Parameters tab. Here you'll need to create a New Parameter that will be mapped to the Custom User Field created earlier. The example shown below has been named, and it is important that you select Include in User Provisioning, as that will provision out to the user the Jive phone number and associate it with the account in Jive. When completed, select Save to confirm the parameter.
Selecting the new custom parameter will take you into the Edit Field pane. Here you'll simply associate this new Jive parameter with the custom Jive user field created earlier. With your page resembling the example below, select Save to finish.
At this point, all users that have been granted access to Jive should be provisioned out with the application!
