On September 21, 2018, OpenID-based single sign-on via OneLogin will be discontinued.
We're deprecating OpenID because it never gained traction with SaaS vendors and is currently supported by very few. In contrast, the SAML standard is wildly successful and OneLogin supports thousands of apps using SAML. We will deprecate OpenID to focus our efforts on standards that are supported throughout the industry.
We’ve hidden all OpenID-based apps from our App Catalog. Any existing OpenID apps will continue to function until September 21, 2018. We strongly recommend replacing your OpenID apps with SAML or form-based versions as soon as possible to avoid a potential disruption.
To replace your OpenID apps with SAML, see Configure SSO for SAML-Enabled Apps.
To replace your OpenID apps with form-based authentication, see Configure SSO for a Form-Based Application.
