    Validation errors are typically a mismatch with the certificate or the signature algorithm (can be changed in the SSO tab of the app inside of OneLogin).  As a best guess, first make sure those match whatever the internal app is expecting - since you downloaded the metadata, the signature algorithm is a more likely culprit.  If you need more precise help, feel free to open a support ticket using the drop down under your name in the top right corner of your OneLogin GUI.  We're more than happy to assist.
